Which one do you need

You want Windows-only games
UVM. It installs Windows 11 as a VM and gets you to the desktop.
You manage servers or a NAS

You play browser games only

Questions

Does UVM come with a Windows licence?

No. UVM handles the machine, the image and the install. The Windows licence is yours to buy or activate, same as with any VM.

Will these games run inside the VM?

Browser games don't need it — they already run in Chrome on macOS. UVM is for titles that only ship a Windows build.

Is DartShell a subscription?
